Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Pickling Vinegar

  • 8 Cups Water

  • ¾ Cup Coarse Pickling Salt

  • 6 Tbsp. Br. Sugar

  • ¼ Tsp. Pickling Spice

  • Garlic Cloves

Instructions

Bring 1st 3 ingredients to a rolling boil.  Place Brown Sugar, pickling Spice & Garlic cloves in sterilised jars. Wash cucumbers in cold water pack into the sterilised jars with the spices. Pour boiling brine over cucumbers & seal jars. When jars are sealed place in a canner in a cold water bath & process until cucumbers turn a light shade of green.

NOTE: Do not boil or they’ll turn mushy.
