Bunt Pan Poppy Seed Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 White or Butter pecan cake mix

  • 1/2 Cup Oil

  • 1 Tbsp. Rum extract

  • 1 Pkg. Vanilla pudding mix

  • 4 Eggs

  • 1/2 Cup Poppy Seeds

  • 1 Cup Milk

Instructions

Mix together all ingredients. Pour into a greased bunt pan and bake at 350 F for 45 minutes or until you can poke it with a toothpick and it comes out clean.

Icing

 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar

  • 1/4 Cup Butter

  • 1 Tbsp. Rum Extract

  • 3 Tbsp. Cream or milk

  • 1 1/2 Cups Icing Sugar

Instructions

In a medium saucepan boil the brown sugar, cream, and butter for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and cool. Add icing sugar and rum. Beat until smooth. If needed add more cream or icing sugar.
