Homemade Ice Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 ½ tsp. vanilla

  • 1 ¼ cups Wh. Sugar

  • ¼ tsp. salt

  • 2 ½ cups whole milk

  • 2 tbsp. corn syrup

  • 2 cups of cream

Instructions

In a large bowl beat eggs, sugar, salt, cream, syrup and milk until batter is smooth. Pour batter into ice cream maker continue mixing as you pack the ice. Pour 3 inches of crushed ice around container sprinkle with course pickling salt. Continue layering until you reach the drain hole. Place in a pan to catch the water that runs out as you crank. Never stop cranking until ice cream is finished. In about 15-20 minutes it will become stiff to crank when it’s ready.

When doubled use 4 cups of milk and 2 ¼ cups of Wh. Sugar.
