Pat’s Chocolate Chiffon Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups flour

  • ¼ cup cocoa

  • 1 ½ cup Wh. sugar

  • 3 tsp. baking powder

  • 1 tsp. salt

  • ½ cup oil

  • 7 unbeaten egg yolks

  • ¾ cup cold water

  • 2 tsp. vanilla

  • 7 egg whites

  • ½ tsp cream of tartar

Instructions

Beat egg whites and cream of tartar together. Mix wet ingredients well then add dry ingredients put in pan. Bake for 55 minutes at 325°then at 350° for 10-15 minutes. Use a big pan.
