Butter Horns

Ingredients
1 pkg. yeast
½ cup warm water
1 tbsp. sugar
(Put above ingredients into a bowl. Let rise for 10 minutes)
½ cup margarine
1 tsp. salt
1 cup scalded milk
5 cups flour
½ cup sugar
3 beaten eggs
Instructions
Heat milk, sugar, salt and margarine. Cool while yeast mixture is rising. In a larger bowl place, the 5 cups of flour. Once yeast is ready & milk mixture is cool mix both together along with the eggs. Pour liquid mixture over the flour and mix & knead well to get a smooth texture. Let rise do not punch down. Cut off a piece of dough and roll out the size of a small pie plate. Cut into 8-10 wedges, roll wedge from outside in. Place on greased cookie sheet. Let rise to double in size.
Bake at 375° for 12 minutes. Ice and sprinkle with nuts, candy etc.
